Take Me Out to the Ball Game

On Saturday, May 7th, while the Phillies are on the road, Citizens Bank Park will play host to the kids of Dragonfly Forest.

While the players are away, Dragonfly Forest kids and their families will invade the ballpark and get to experience its breathtaking views, dazzling amenities and staggering array of special features!


Our Pre-Camp Program will feature private tours of player only areas of the stadium including the dugout and clubhouse, lunch at Bull’s Barbeque, and a chance to play some of the fans’ favorite games, including Run the Bases, Ballpark Pinball and Pitch 'Em & Tip 'Em.

This pre-event has been designed to provide Dragonfly Kids an opportunity to meet their fellow campers before heading to camp, while their parents or guardians can get their questions answered.

“The purpose of this event is to help build anticipation with the kids,” says Fred Weiner, Program Director for Dragonfly Away, “half of the excitement of any event is getting ready for it and anticipating the fun you are going to have.”


When the campers leave this event, they will be sent home with lots of things they need to be ready for fun at camp (but that is another story). We know our Pre-Camp Program will be a Grand Slam!
