Dragonfly Forest Hires
the King of Cool as Camp
Director
This summer during our
staff training we got to
meet a unique individual
who taught our
counselors how to be
cool. It didn't matter
if you were a geek, shy,
or a social butterfly we
all learned tips and
tricks on how to be a
"Cool Counselor." Based
on the reaction of our
staff and others we knew
we had to get our
teacher and new friend
involved with Dragonfly
Forest. That is why we
are excited to announce
that Scott Arizala will
be joining Dragonfly
Forest as our new Camp
Director.
Scott has spent his life
in camping - first as a
camper, then a Counselor
in Training, then as a
Counselor and for the
past eight years a
Program / Camp Director.
Scott's experience
working with kids goes
beyond camp and extends
into the classroom where
he has been a teacher.
Scott has also been a
camp consultant to over
25 camps throughout the
US and is a frequent
requested speaker at
numerous ACA and other
camping conferences at
the regional and
national level. Scott's
primary responsibilities
at Dragonfly Forest will
involve program and
training development,
staff recruitment and
camp operations. With
Scott's hire, Dragonfly
Forest can now boast
that we will have the
"coolest" counselors.
